The role of Sister/Charge Nurse at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester involves collaboration with the Senior Sister to manage the Endocrine Department effectively. The post holder will assume leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Senior Sister, ensuring patient care aligns with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct, trust policies, and health and safety regulations. Key duties include developing nurse-led services such as telephone clinics and contributing to the education and training of staff members.
