NHS Lothian is seeking a Medical Secretary for the Pathology Department, primarily located at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. This full-time position, offering 37 hours per week, involves providing critical support in the issuance of Pathology diagnosis reports. Responsibilities include precise audio typing of patient Biopsy and Autopsy reports, collating necessary documentation for Consultant Multi-disciplinary Team meetings, and taking minutes. Candidates should have relevant experience in a similar role, strong keyboard and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and digital dictation systems.

The role is open to both full-time and part-time applicants, with part-time roles available at 22.5 hours per week. The salary ranges from £29,116 to £31,670, pro rata for part-time positions.
