The Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is seeking a dynamic and experienced registered nurse to fill the role of Patient Flow Manager / Bed/Site Manager at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital in Pontyclun. This pivotal position involves overseeing the efficient management of patient flow across the hospital, including the Emergency Department and inpatient areas, ensuring optimal resource utilisation and capacity throughout the facility. The role requires 24/7 coverage and collaboration with various health institutions to facilitate smooth patient transitions from admission through to discharge.

Candidates need to possess significant post-registration experience and strong communication skills, as the role includes supporting nursing, medical, and ancillary staff as well as engaging with patients and their families. The position is essential for achieving key performance and quality standards while providing leadership out-of-hours with support from senior management. Fluency in Welsh is desirable, and the post is a full-time permanent contract offering a competitive salary within the NHS pay scale.
