The role of Lead Clinical Pharmacy Technician at NHS Lothian's Western General Hospital is a leadership position aimed at experienced pharmacy technicians who have a keen interest in inflammatory conditions. This Band 6 position (1.0 WTE, 37 hours per week) offers a salary range of £39,912 to £48,635 (pro-rata), including various shifts. The successful candidate will manage and develop pharmacy technician and support worker roles, contribute to the strategic and operational planning of clinical pharmacy services, and collaborate with the Gastroenterology Pharmacy Team to ensure high-quality pharmaceutical care for patients with inflammatory bowel disease and other gastroenterological conditions.

Candidates must be registered pharmacy technicians with relevant qualifications, including the National Certificate in Pharmacy Services and certain competency awards.
