University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a proactive and motivated Band 6 Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse for Coombes ward, a 27-bed unit focusing on trauma and orthopaedic care for both male and female patients. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a Band 5 nurse to enhance their management and leadership skills while supporting the ward manager. Coombes ward is a 27 bedded ward caring for male and female patients with trauma and orthopaedic needs.
This is an ideal opportunity for a band 5 nurse to advance their management skills, leadership skills and support the ward manager. This will be achieved through a range of educational and development sessions, the ward manager and colleagues.
You will need to have a positive attitude towards team building and ability to maintain excellent standards of care whilst ensuring that our patients are top priority.
