The Doncaster & Bassetlaw NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Locum Consultant in Elderly Medicine to join its Care of the Elderly service. This role involves collaborating with a team of five existing consultants in various sub-specialties, and emphasises the delivery of high-quality geriatric care, including participation in multidisciplinary team rounds, developing rapid assessment clinics, and fostering connections with emergency medicine to enhance admission avoidance for older patients. Additionally, the consultant will work on policies and practices that improve patient management, alongside the integration of nurse practitioners and paramedical staff in the clinical setting.

Candidates must hold an MRCP or equivalent and be on the specialist register for Geriatric Medicine or nearing registration. The position offers a competitive salary ranging from £105,504 to £139,882 per annum (pro rata) and encourages flexible working arrangements.
