The Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is looking for a Local Retention Lead in Cwmbrân to join their Organisational Development team for a 14-month secondment. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing local retention plans aimed at improving staff experiences in areas such as engagement, wellbeing, leadership, and career pathways. The position entails collaboration with the All-Wales retention community to share best practices, collection of retention data for reporting purposes, and driving quality improvement initiatives to enhance staff retention.

Applicants should hold a master's degree or equivalent experience, possess knowledge of factors affecting workforce retention, and demonstrate substantial management experience in clinical or operational settings. Key responsibilities include leading the adoption of national retention resources, monitoring progress on retention priorities, and providing comprehensive reports to the Board.
