The Associate Exercise Practitioner role at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust involves joining the Active Together Cancer Rehabilitation service, which supports individuals following a cancer diagnosis through tailored physical activity, nutrition, and wellbeing guidance. This innovative service, a collaboration between Sheffield Hallam University and local NHS trusts, aims to enhance the health and quality of life of cancer patients, focusing on personalized rehabilitation and inclusive care. The practitioner will deliver prehabilitation and rehabilitation programs in various settings, assess and adapt patient progress, promote healthy lifestyle changes, and contribute to the service's evaluation and operational management.

This position is a fixed-term contract for 11 months and requires a motivated individual who can work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists, dietitians, and psychologists. The role emphasises the importance of addressing health inequalities and involves continuous quality improvement in service delivery.
