Overview:
The Trust is seeking applications for the role of Trust Grade Doctor in Cardiology. This position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their careers in the UK NHS, including current trainees uncertain about their future. Previous Trust Grade holders have successfully transitioned to formal training programs and career-grade positions.

Requirements:

  • Full registration and license to practice with the GMC
  • Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
  • Minimum of 12 months continuous NHS experience prior to the start date
  • Completion of the Internal Medicine Training (IMT) program or equivalent competencies

Responsibilities:
Candidates can expect opportunities in leadership, service management, and rota management. Although this is not a recognized training post, the Trust offers similar development and training opportunities, including:

  • Named clinical supervisor
  • Local induction and training information
  • Personal Development Plan and annual appraisal
  • Annual study leave funding (£500)
  • Support for achieving foundation competencies
