Overview:
The Trust is seeking applications for the role of Trust Grade Doctor in Cardiology. This position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their careers in the UK NHS, including current trainees uncertain about their future. Previous Trust Grade holders have successfully transitioned to formal training programs and career-grade positions.
Requirements:
- Full registration and license to practice with the GMC
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Minimum of 12 months continuous NHS experience prior to the start date
- Completion of the Internal Medicine Training (IMT) program or equivalent competencies
Responsibilities:

- Support towards obtaining Alternative Certificate confirming achievement of foundation competencies, to aid those who want to access a recognised training position in the future
The successful candidates will be joining clinical teams who offer a supportive and encouraging environment which will allow progression as a professional through development opportunities in specialist fields as well as their area of particular interest. There will also be an expectation that the post holder will take an active part in both internal and external audits. The post will be based in one clinical specialty but may rotate to more than one area if that is of mutually agreed benefit.
