CSH Surrey is seeking a Band 5 Special School Nurse to join the Special School Nursing Service in Leatherhead, effective from April 1, 2025, as part of a TUPE transfer. The role involves caring for children and young people (ages 2-11) with severe learning disabilities and complex health needs at Woodlands School. Candidates must have at least one year of post-registration clinical experience in a relevant field.

The position is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, during term time only. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not available. Following a retendering process, the children's service is due to be transferred to the new provider on the 1st of April 2025. Given this post sits within the transferring service, in line with the legislative requirements, the successful candidate will be part of the TUPE transfer along with other colleagues.

Purpose
The post holder will be responsible for overseeing the provision of health care for children and young people, aged 2-11 years, with severe/profound and multiple learning and physical difficulties.
This will be achieved by providing expert training, advice and support to the school staff and other people involved in their care.
