Newport Pagnell Medical Centre is seeking a full-time Healthcare Assistant to join their team under the supervision of the lead nurse. The role involves supporting the clinical team in delivering patient care in accordance with practice guidelines, and candidates should have previous experience in similar roles. Newport Pagnell Medical Centre has a fantastic opportunity for a full-time healthcare assistant to join the practice.
Working under the direct supervision of the lead nurse, and strictly in accordance with specific practice guidelines and protocols, you will assist the clinical team in the provision and delivery of prescribed programmes of patient care.

The healthcare assistant will be able to apply their clinical skills and knowledge to carry out high quality practice within designated clinical areas such as:
- venepuncture, phlebotomy checks
- new patient health checks;
- clearing and re-stocking consulting rooms;
- preparing and maintaining environments and equipment before, during and after patient care interventions including assisting GPs during the performance of minor operations;
- providing valuable health promotion and education for service users, their families and carers;
