The role of Facilities Operative - Grounds and Garden at the Grange University Hospital in Cwmbran involves maintaining the external grounds and gardens to a high standard. Key responsibilities include grass and hedge cutting, tree pruning, litter picking, emptying external bins, and performing seasonal maintenance tasks as directed. The postholder will also work collaboratively with other Facilities & Estates staff to address challenges such as severe weather conditions, and to ensure efficient waste and recycling operations.

This position requires the implementation of training and instructions provided, contributing to the overall delivery of the Waste & Grounds Service, and maintaining the hospital's outdoor areas in accordance with planned work schedules.
