The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking experienced Band 5 ICU/SHDU Nurses for their critical care teams in Hampstead. This role provides an opportunity to work in a leading centre for liver transplantation and infectious diseases, handling a diverse patient population. Successful candidates will engage in a comprehensive development program, including an accredited Adult Intensive Care Course, aimed at facilitating a transition to Band 6 once competencies are achieved.

Key responsibilities entail assessing patient care needs, implementing and evaluating care plans based on evidence-based standards, maintaining accurate nursing records, and ensuring safe drug administration. The role also involves supervising junior staff and promoting effective communication within a multi-disciplinary team. Additionally, nurses will participate in discharge planning and adhere to established trust policies and procedures, contributing to high-quality patient care and safety in the critical care environment.
