The role of Radiotherapy Principal Physicist (Band 8a) at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Cheltenham involves providing senior support within the radiotherapy physics team. The successful candidate will collaborate with Medical Physics Experts and senior staff to ensure the safe delivery of radiotherapy services at Cheltenham General Hospital and its satellite centre. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining information systems to enhance patient care, ensuring compliance with relevant ionising radiation legislation, and participating in the training of staff, including trainee clinical scientists and radiographers. Some Saturday work is required for this position.
