SEU is an emergency surgical department based at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. We care for a wide variety of patients which will provide you with the opportunity to build a range of skills and knowledge upon which to construct your health career.
We are a diverse and motivated team seeking enthusiastic personalities and motivated new colleagues. You will be working alongside our Registered Nurses, which gives you the opportunity to learn and understand different roles and duties within our multidisciplinary team. Our friendly team will support and help you to learn and adapt in your new ward environment.
Your main duties will include caring for surgical patients, helping them with their daily personal care needs, manual handling, and monitoring their clinical condition. Also you will have the opportunity to gain and acquire new learning opportunities to improve your knowledge and skills.
As a Senior Nursing Assistant, you will act as a role model to your junior colleagues.
