The Healthcare Technician (HCT) position at Midlands Medical Partnership in Birmingham involves performing phlebotomy and various healthcare technician duties across practice settings, patient homes, and care homes to ensure high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include adhering to health and safety regulations, maintaining confidentiality, and supporting the clinical team with tasks such as blood pressure monitoring and ECGs. The role necessitates flexibility in working hours and locations, as well as a commitment to ongoing professional development and compliance with MMP policies, including infection control and safeguarding practices.

Additionally, the HCT will need to foster positive relationships with patients to ease anxiety during procedures and support nursing staff, particularly in complex cases.
