Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Clinical or Counselling Psychologist for the Salford adult inpatient services at the Meadowbrook Unit. This full-time position (Band 7-8a or an 8a role for qualified professionals) involves a dynamic and varied work environment, where the psychologist will conduct psychological assessments, develop care formulations, and deliver both individual and group interventions. The role includes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, contributing to staff training, and supervising Assistant Psychologists. Candidates can be experienced professionals or Trainee Clinical Psychologists set to qualify in 2024, with opportunities for professional development and involvement in quality improvement projects within a trauma-informed care framework.
