Our multi-disciplinary team made up of a specialist consultant, nursing staff and a range of therapists, cares for people with complex needs on both a short-term or longer-stay basis. The service is supported by a specialist consultant from the Lane Fox Unit, the largest complex home ventilation and weaning centre in England.Extensive knowledge of tracheostomy ventilation is essential to this role.
The Charge Nurse will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team to deliver a high standard of care to the patient and residents of the hospital. You will be an essential member of the ward and will work alongside an interdisciplinary team to provide clinical oversight and nursing leadership.
We will provide you with specialist training and on-going education support. We offer comprehensive induction programme with supervision and support from our dedicated clinical education team. Your on-going career development.

The RHN is an independent hospital and medical charity. We care for people who have brain injuries and require assessment and intensive rehabilitation for conditions such asHuntingtons diseaseand prolonged disorders of consciousness. Our specialist services include a ventilator unit and aneuro-behavioural unit.
The ventilation service at Royal Hospital for Neuro disability has 2 purpose built units namely Jack Emerson Centre and Leonora Ward) both has 16 beds each. The service provides care and support of patients with neuro- disability requiring complex invasive mechanical ventilation support via a tracheostomy tube.
We help those with the most complex of health needs and disabilities including degenerative or progressive conditions as well as providing palliative care.The patients we support usually have complex physical challenges alongside their Neuro-disability.
