 FIXED TERM 
The Dietetic Assistant will support the delivery of specialized care within the Tier 3 Bariatric Service, assisting dietitians in managing patients with obesity.

As a Dietetic Assistant in a Tier 3 Bariatric Service, you will support the multidisciplinary team in providing specialized care for patients with obesity who are undergoing weight management interventions. Your role involves assisting registered dietitians in delivering nutritional assessments, implementing care plans, and educating patients on healthy eating habits and behavior change techniques. You will help prepare educational materials, collect patient data, and support patients in their journey to achieve long-term weight loss and improve their health.

Working closely with dietitians, you will contribute to the management of patients both pre- and post-bariatric surgery, ensuring that they receive tailored nutritional advice. This role is vital for helping patients meet their weight loss goals and preparing them for potential surgical interventions. Your role will also include administrative tasks such as maintaining patient records and booking appointments, making you a key part of the care team in delivering comprehensive bariatric services.

  3. Patient Education
    :Provide guidance on healthy eating, portion control, and behavior change strategies to help patients adopt sustainable habits. Offer pre- and post-operative dietary support as needed.


  4. Preparing Educational Resources
