The Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Band 6 Specialist Renal Dietitian to join their renal dietetic team on a part-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will manage patients on renal inpatient wards, those on dialysis, and an outpatient caseload, providing specialist, evidence-based dietary support across various renal conditions such as low clearance, nephrology, and transplantation. Comprehensive training and supervision will be offered for those new to the renal specialty.

The role involves delivering complex nutritional counseling, developing treatment plans, and advising patients, carers, and clinical staff on dietary management. The Dietitian will also play an essential role in training multidisciplinary team members, supporting junior staff and student Dietitians, and facilitating effective communication with a diverse patient population. Additionally, the post holder will contribute to the integration efforts with St George's Hospital, ensuring streamlined care pathways for renal patients while operating primarily from St Helier Hospital and its satellite units.
