Your Healthcare CIC is seeking an innovative and motivated Health Visitor to join their integrated team in Surbiton. The role involves providing a comprehensive health visiting service to families and children aged 0 to 19 years, focusing on assessing health needs, addressing inequalities, and promoting health initiatives in collaboration with the community and various stakeholders. The successful candidate will be expected to implement evidence-based practices, participate in safeguarding children, and engage in health promotion activities within the framework of local health agendas.

Key responsibilities include developing and evaluating care programs, conducting home visits, facilitating parenting support groups, and promoting immunisation and public health initiatives. Ideal candidates should be qualified health visitors with strong IT skills, experience in safeguarding management, and a commitment to working within a multi-disciplinary team to improve community health. The position also involves mentoring students and fostering a reflective practice environment while ensuring high-quality service delivery and effective communication across healthcare services.

To work as a Health Visitor in the UK, you'll need a combination of qualifications, skills, and personal attributes. Here are the essential requirements:
Qualifications:
1. Nursing or Midwifery Qualification: You must be a registered nurse or midwife, having completed a degree program.
2. Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN) Qualification: Additionally, you need to complete a Health Visiting program, which leads to SCPHN certification.
