Deputy Service Manager with Quay Health Solutions CIC in London
The Deputy Service Manager will deliver and continually develop the Enhanced Access Service (EAS) for patients registered with North Southwark Primary Care Network member practices 8am to 8pm, Monday to Sunday including Bank Holidays. This role is instrumental in developing and testing new services within the EAS to maximise utilisation and appropriateness for the local population and member practices. The Deputy Service Manager will work with the EAS Clinical Lead GP to manager and develop the staff at the EAS. Should QHS receive a large number of applications, we may close the advert early. Ensure smooth running of Enhanced Access Services on a day to day basis, identifying and resolving any service issues and reporting to QHS Service Manager. Support the QHS Service Manager to ensure adequate supplies and equipment are in situ to enable the service to function, and clinical and non-clinical supplies are stored and maintained within guidelines. Deputise for the QHS Service Manager and attend and contribute to monthly service improvement group meetings. Support the smooth running of the GP Care Home practice that includes, arranging referrals, chasing hospital discharge letters/results, following up hospital appointments/DNAs, dealing with incoming/outgoing post and emails, actioning tasks, entering clinical data on behalf of GPs/Nurses, registering patients , accepting GP2GP records, deductions and amendments, issuing prescriptions, helping meet targets for flu vaccinations, checking workflow and chasing up any overdue tasks.
