The Croydon Health Services NHS Trust is seeking a Senior Infection Prevention and Control Nurse (Band 8a) for a part-time (15 hours per week) position, primarily on Thursdays and Fridays. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with a passion for infection prevention and control (IPC) and existing leadership skills to build upon the team's current successes. The successful candidate will support the development and implementation of IPC systems, enhance patient safety, and comply with national directives while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Candidates should possess excellent communication and organisational skills, be computer literate, and demonstrate autonomy in their work. Responsibilities include analyzing performance indicators, conducting audits, and assessing national policies to improve quality and safety within the organisation. Ultimately, the role aims to provide a proactive, evidence-based IPC service to reduce infection incidences and promote a safe environment for both patients and staff.
