The Stockport NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Ward Clerk for the award-winning Stroke team at Stepping Hill Hospital's 30-bedded specialist stroke unit, Ward E1. The role involves efficiently managing filing and tracking of medical case notes, answering inquiries, supporting the multidisciplinary team, arranging transport, securing urgent scans or appointments for timely discharges, and ordering office and ward supplies. Candidates should have strong IT skills, be organized, and prioritize their workload to enhance patient care and support the team. The Trust emphasises safeguarding and requires a Standard DBS check, which will involve costs deducted from the first salary, along with an annual subscription to the DBS update service.
