We are recruiting for a Care Support Worker to support a female with a mental health diagnosis

You will be paid £15.00 per hour for day shifts, and a reduced rate for sleeping nights, after training is completed (training is provided during our recruitment process)

This is a Part Time position offering 24 hours per week, and involves days & sleeping nights, based in Preston

We are looking for a Care Support Worker to support a female with a mental health diagnosis.

Staff will support her to access the community, helping her find social groups etc where she can attend and make positive relationships and friends. She also requires support with cooking and housework, and a little help with some personal care.

Your responsibilities as our Care Support Worker will include:    Assisting and supporting vulnerable clients to enable them to live the life they choose (where possible) to promote their independence.  Your role will include, companionship, supporting with housework, running errands and supporting with preparing and cooking meals.  Administering medication may be required.  

Skills and Experience required of our Care Support Worker: 

You are required to have good communication skills and have a desire to care for others.
