The Senior Healthcare Assistant (Band 3) position in the Outpatients Department at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust offers an opportunity for a caring and enthusiastic individual to join the nursing team. Reporting to the Sister or Charge Nurse, the role involves ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients while providing personal care and performing a range of clinical tasks. Applicants should possess strong communication skills, a positive attitude toward patient care, and the ability to work effectively under pressure as part of a team. Although previous hospital experience is desirable, training will be provided.

Flexibility is essential as the service operates six days a week, including evening clinics. The Senior Healthcare Assistant will also be responsible for training, directing, and supervising junior staff, ensuring all actions fall within their competence and training. Candidates will be assessed based on specific qualifications and skills outlined in the person specification provided.
