The Systemic Family Therapist role at Pennine Care NHS FT in Stockport is aimed at professionals passionate about supporting children, young people, and families. The position is part of the Stockport CAMHS team, which is known for its systemic approach and strong emphasis on well-being, operating from a modern facility. Candidates will engage in highly specialist systemic assessments and psychotherapy, addressing diverse family structures and cultural backgrounds. This position is open to both experienced Systemic Family Therapists, aimed at band 8a, and newly qualified applicants who can be supported from band 7 to 8a. Responsibilities will encompass conducting detailed psychological assessments, offering evidence-based interventions, and challenging systemic issues such as racism and discrimination, thereby contributing to a culturally competent service. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an understanding of complex family dynamics and possess the skills necessary for working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
