The Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 3 Assistant Ophthalmic Science Practitioner for its Ophthalmic Imaging and Angiography department at the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital. The role involves providing comprehensive ophthalmic services for patients with eye diseases and collaborating closely with specialties such as Medical Retina, Uveitis, and Glaucoma. The successful applicant will engage in various diagnostic tests, including Optical Coherence Tomography and Visual Acuity testing, within a supportive and innovative team environment. Strong attention to detail, teamwork, effective communication, and flexibility are essential. Previous experience in an ophthalmic unit is advantageous.
