Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified mental health professional (OT, RMN, or SW) to join their Recovery Education Trainer role within The Discovery Project in Bournemouth. This position involves collaborating with peer trainers to enhance the Children and Young Person Recovery Education offering, focusing on co-production and lived experience in mental health recovery. The trainer will work with children, young people, families, professionals, schools, and voluntary organisations to promote understanding and capacity in recovery through education.

The role entails co-producing and co-delivering educational courses while providing expert advice on emerging practices in Recovery Education. Ideal candidates should possess a solid understanding of personal and clinical recovery, as well as the educational processes that facilitate mental health recovery. The position is primarily based in Bournemouth, but travel across Dorset is required. Candidates are encouraged to highlight relevant experiences and skills in their application.
