Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Chief Nursing Information Officer (CNIO) to join its Chief Nurse Senior leadership team in London. The CNIO will play a crucial role in providing senior nursing leadership and acting as the principal nursing advisor for key digital initiatives, including the Epic EPR Programme and the Digital Research Innovation and Virtual Environments (DRIVE) Programme. Responsibilities include ensuring clinical safety and compliance, managing EPR clinical risks, and promoting digital innovation among Nurses and Allied Health Professions. The CNIO will serve as an informatics advisor, support workforce development, and collaborate with various directorates to enhance clinical transformation and integrated care pathways.

In this role, the CNIO will also manage a team of Nursing and Allied Health Information Officers and work closely with other clinical IT leaders to design improved clinical processes. The candidate is expected to be an effective role model of high-quality clinical practice and actively advocate for digital innovation across the organisation. This position offers an opportunity to lead the digital agenda within the nursing domain, fostering partnerships and ensuring that technological advancements enhance patient outcomes.
