Cambridge University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Consultant in Renal Medicine and General Medicine. The role involves overseeing the care of general medicine inpatients, managing a ward of medically fit patients, and assisting with post-take medical duties on an out-of-hours rota. The successful candidate will also lead the Renal Tubular and Genetics Disorder Service, which includes rare inherited and tubular disorders and a Stone Clinic for recurrent renal stone disease.

Key responsibilities include covering the renal ward and on-call duties, along with contributions to teaching and training within the hospital. Ideal applicants should be fully GMC registered, with a CCT in Nephrology and General Internal Medicine or nearing completion, and must have sub-specialty experience in managing renal genetic and tubular disorders.
