The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Radiopharmacy Technician for a one-year fixed-term maternity cover position in Sutton. The role involves providing manufacturing and quality control support within the Radiopharmacy, which holds both MS and MIA(IMP) licenses. The technician will work collaboratively with a team of technicians and radiopharmaceutical scientists to manufacture, dispense, and ensure the quality of diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals. The position requires a strong commitment to accuracy and adherence to strict time constraints, with opportunities for development in aseptic techniques and organisational skills.

Candidates should ideally be registered Pharmacy Technicians (GPhC) or possess a relevant degree in a scientific discipline, with prior experience in Radiopharmacy and aseptics preferred but not essential. The technician will perform routine aseptic production and in vitro laboratory tests, maintain inventory, and ensure safe disposal of radioactive materials, all while following established Standard Operating Procedures. Successful applicants will contribute to a comprehensive clinical Radiopharmacy service for both the Trust and external entities.
