You will be joining a well established team comprising of 5 GPs , 1 ANP , 1 Minor illness nurse , 3 Practice nurses , 2 HCAs and a full team of administrator's.

The successful applicant will practice autonomously ( with GP support on hand if required ) within their professional scope of practice providing care for patients both face to face and remotely. A further expectation of being able to order their own investigations (bloods/radiology) and refer to secondary care and organise emergency admissions as and when required along with a share of admin inclusive of but not limited to clinical letters and filing pathology results.

Responsible for attending to patients who wish to be seen by a health care professional; diagnosing and treating patients presenting with acute illness seeing and advising people in respect of their continuing medical and nursing needs. These patients will have booked appointments at ten-minute intervals. There is a requirement to see extra or emergency patients. The nurse practitioner will need to prioritise and triage the needs of patients accordingly making any necessary referrals for investigations in the appropriate manner. Patients with problems needing referral to secondary care should be discussed with the registered GP before making such referral.
