The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist (Colposcopy) to work full-time (37.5 hours per week) in a developmental Band 8a role. The ideal candidate will be a trained Nurse Colposcopist with BSCCP accreditation, possessing skills in leadership, clinical expertise, and evidence-based practice. Responsibilities include leading the colposcopy service, supporting Gynaecology Clinical Nurse Specialists, and collaborating with lead clinicians to improve service performance and operational efficiency. The successful applicant will act as an autonomous practitioner in managing diagnostic and therapeutic clinics, ensure high care standards, and oversee training and supervision of nursing staff. The role requires experience in gynaecology and participation in the senior nursing management team.
