The Deputy Sister / Charge Nurse role at Chartridge Ward in Amersham, part of Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced registered nurse to support patient care in a 22-bedded ward focused on rehabilitation and discharge readiness. The position is part-time and requires flexibility in shifts, including long days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays. In this role, the Deputy Sister / Charge Nurse will ensure safe and effective patient care, promote the ward's ethos of encouraging patient mobility, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate successful discharges.

Key responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, and management of various health conditions. The post involves acting as a role model for junior staff, participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, addressing clinical and operational challenges, and upholding a clean and safe environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the ward manager to monitor quality-driven indicators and support the development of evidence-based care practices.
