The role of a Salaried ARRS GP at Rochdale North PCN involves providing comprehensive healthcare services across various GP practices, focusing on acute, same-day demand. As a newly qualified GP, you will transition from training to independent practice with support from a dedicated Clinical Lead mentor and supervisor, as well as engagement in team-centered activities such as clinical meetings and protected learning sessions. Key responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients, developing care plans, managing long-term conditions, conducting consultations (both in-person and via telephone), processing prescriptions, and ensuring high standards of patient care in line with GMC guidelines.

The position requires making autonomous clinical decisions, documenting consultations accurately, and participating in quality control processes, including QOF compliance and data collection for audits. The GP will also be tasked with fair distribution of home visits while collaborating with other healthcare professionals within the PCN to ensure effective patient management and referrals as necessary.
