Castle Place Practice are looking for an experienced Administration Lead who would be responsible for the effective and smooth running of our administrative functions without compromising patient care. The successful candidate should be hard working and able to work under pressure, with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a small team.

To be responsible for the efficient management and direction of the Administration team, ensuring all administrative duties are performed effectively and to the required standard, meeting practice.

Ability to use own initiative to provide solutions and resolutions to complex problems and queries which may arise within the Practice on a daily basis and ensure appropriate deadlines are met. To support the Management team in promoting quality and continuous improvement, confidentiality, collaborative working, service delivery, learning and development and carry out other duties as directed by both the Practice Manager and the Operations Manager.

Previous experience of working within the GP Practice or other health care provider would be desirable. You must be organised, self-motivated, forward thinking with excellent customer service skills.

The candidate must be enthusiastic and computer literate, ideally with experience in using EMIS WEB or other similar clinical system. This role is a wide and varied one, and the successful candidate will provide a range of administration duties such as organising and allocating incoming documentation, electronic messages, clinical coding and using their own initiative in ensuring the administration team provide a comprehensive administration and clerical service to GPs, Clinicians, external bodies and patients. You must be a person who likes working in a team but who also has the ability to take responsibility for their own work.
