The role of Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry at Broxtowe & Hucknall LMHT, Beeston, involves a full-time permanent position within the Adult Mental Health Care Unit, seeking to enhance patient care in the Nottingham county region. Key responsibilities include assessing and managing new and ongoing patients, collaborating with General Practitioners, and implementing the recovery model and Assertive Outreach pathways. The consultant will provide clinical leadership, support multidisciplinary team meetings, manage complex cases, and guide evidence-based treatment approaches while engaging in day-to-day on-call duties and training responsibilities.

This position also emphasises collaborative working with various stakeholders and adherence to Mental Health Act requirements, requiring strong interpersonal skills and the capability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary environment.
