Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking passionate and flexible candidates for the part-time role of Young Person and Family Outreach Worker within the new CAMHS Crisis and Liaison Psychiatry Service in Bournemouth. This position involves providing intensive, therapeutic support to young people facing mental health crises in their homes and acute hospital settings, as well as working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Candidates must have experience working therapeutically with children and young people with mental health issues, along with a robust clinical background. The role requires a full UK driving license and may involve flexible hours, including weekends and early/late shifts.

The outreach workers will contribute to improving mental health services in Dorset and must demonstrate the ability to manage the demands of a crisis service effectively. Applicants should highlight relevant experience in their supporting statement as part of the application process. Additionally, the position requires an Enhanced DBS check, which the Trust will cover.
