We have an exciting opportunity for a Bank Healthcare Assistant to join the Primary Care team at HMP Askham Grange, a female open prison and YOI, based just outside of York.
This is a crucial role within the healthcare team, making a real difference to patients, and delivering outstanding care. Hours: This is a bank position, offering the flexibility for you to choose shifts that work around you! The hours we are looking to cover are: Monday-Friday 7.00am - 5.30pm, Saturday & Sunday 8.00am - 10.00pm. Salary: This position is offered on a Bank basis, and the hourly rate is £15.84. How will we support you?Bespoke induction, including our Introducing Health in Justice training course

As our new Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. Some of your duties will include:
- Provide outstanding quality based care to all patients
- Deliver personalised, non judgemental care, based on patient feedback
- Contribute to, and implement care packages, assist with health promotion, wellbeing and clinics
- Support the nursing and pharmacy teams in primary care on the wings and healthcare centres
