The Clinical Team Lead for Family Interventions in Birmingham, as part of the Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust, is a Band 7 position that focuses on leading family interventions within the Early Intervention Psychosis (EIP) service. The role involves delivering and evaluating family support interventions using a Behavioral Family Therapy (BFT) approach, coordinating care for a caseload of young individuals experiencing their first episode of psychosis, and ensuring adherence to the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidelines. The post holder will work closely with the clinical team and management to enhance the delivery of interventions and support for carers, including training and supervision for multidisciplinary teams.

In addition to clinical responsibilities, the role emphasises the development of structured, evidence-based carer support programs, incorporating both in-person and virtual group formats. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong engagement skills, develop meaningful relationships with service users, and implement high-quality clinical care. Collaboration with other team leaders will be essential to advance the overall efficacy of family interventions across Birmingham's EIP service.
