An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Band 3 Pensions Assistant, working within the Payroll department at the James Paget University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The Trust is one of the largest employers in the local area.
The successful candidate will work within the Payroll and Pensions team and will be trained to assist with the delivery of the Pension service to the employees of the Trust.
This is a varied role that will require the successful candidate keeping up to date with NHS Pension Regulations and Trust Policies and Procedures. Full training will be provided. You will be someone who enjoys and wants to provide excellent customer service. We are looking for a candidate that has excellent organisational skills, and who is willing to take on new tasks. We would like to recruit an individual who will find working within a busy Payroll and Pension Team interesting and challenging.
This role will involve tasks such as entering data for New Starters and Leavers of the Trust, updating and maintaining pension records for all Trust employees, replying to correspondence, assisting with providing information to employees about the NHS Pension Scheme and resolving queries employees or NHS Pensions may have with pension membership or records.
