Radiology is a busy department providing Xray, CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy and Ultrasound services for the Emergency department, In-patients and Out-patients. We provide 24/7 diagnostic services to the hospital using high quality up-to-date equipment.
Candidates will work a combination of 7.5hour (5days per week) or 9.25hour shifts (4 days per week) including regular weekend working.
The successful candidate will be required to carry out a variety of duties within the Radiology department to assist radiographers, nurses and radiologists during procedures as required. Working as part of a team is a necessity to ensure the day runs smoothly. They must be patient focussed and be able to advocate for the patients if/when required.
They will also need to be able to deal with telephone enquiries from a variet of sources, prioritize their workload and work unsupervised when necessary.
It is essential to have a good level of general education and basic understanding of IT. Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are also an essential requirement for this post.
