You will be a part of a team delivering 24/7 care by means of Live-In with 1 week on and 1 week off as a shift pattern.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Prestbury, Cheshire. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals with complex health needs, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

The Spinal Injury Support Worker (Live In) position involves delivering personalized care and support to clients with complex health conditions, assisting with daily living activities, administering medication, providing emotional support, and collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care. The role requires previous experience in a similar role, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.

Working Hours:

You will be a part of a team delivering 24/7 care by means of Live-In with 1 week on and 1 week off as a shift pattern. You will start on a Saturday at 08:00 and leave the clients house on the following Saturday at 08:00.

 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering personalised care and support to clients with complex health conditions.
  • Assisting with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
  • Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
  • Providing emotional support and companionship.
  • Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients’ conditions.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.


Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work the specified hours.
  • Valid UK driver's license
