Swansea Bay University Health Board is seeking a full-time Locum Consultant Psychiatrist specializing in Learning Disabilities to join their Learning Disability Service. The position, based at the Hafod Y Wennol Acute Admission and Rehabilitation Unit in Hensol, Pontyclun, involves travel across the Merthyr and Rhondda Cynon Taf regions, with potential for further travel within the broader health board area. The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership and oversee patient care while collaborating within a multi-disciplinary team that includes medical and allied health professionals.

In this role, the psychiatrist will be responsible for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of illnesses related to learning disabilities, while ensuring continuity of care through collaboration with fellow consultants and community teams.
