The University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust is seeking a motivated and inspirational Ward Manager for the Maternity Assessment Unit (MAU) at Leicester Royal Infirmary. The successful candidate will lead a dynamic midwifery team, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality care while supporting the continuous professional development of staff. Responsibilities include overseeing the triage system (Birmingham Symptom specific Obstetric Triage System - BSOTS), providing clinical leadership, and contributing to a positive working environment that promotes staff well-being.

In this role, the Ward Manager will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to meet the needs of a diverse and complex patient population, while also acting as a role model and mentor for clinical practitioners and students. The position requires experience in leadership, knowledge of HR guidelines, and a strong commitment to patient experience and service improvement.
