The Finance Officer - Debt Management role at Velindre University NHS Trust in Cardiff involves supporting the Financial Accountant by administering the Accounts Receivable system and managing the collection of outstanding debts. The position requires interaction with internal and external stakeholders, including NHS organisations and government bodies, to ensure timely debt collection and the accurate processing of financial information according to established procedures. The officer will also oversee the activities of other staff involved in debt collection, manage communications with debtors sensitively, and complete statutory returns related to debtors.
