Administrator - Salisbury with Oxford Health NHS Trust in Salisbury
Do you have excellent attention to detail? Are you caring, compassionate and good with people? Would you like to work in a role where you know you're making a different to the lives of children, young people and their families? We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible, empathetic and self-motivated individual to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services team, based at Salisbury Hospital. Your role will be essential. One day a week, you'll be providing administration support to our Eating Disorder Service (TEDS) and on the other days you'll be supporting the wider CAMHS team, including the Getting More Help Teams. As you'll be working with specific teams on specific days, you'll not only have variety but you'll also be able to take ownership of specific tasks to really make a difference to the team you are supporting. If you don't have previous office experience, that's ok; we're looking for someone with a willingness to learn, an ability to multitask and someone who can pick up new ideas/processes quickly. Please just let us know in your application about your transferable skills! The main focus of this role is to provide direct administrative support to the whole of the multidisciplinary team. It's a varied job too; you'll be working with administrative and clinical staff to arrange appointments for the team of CAMHS staff, meeting and greeting our service users and their families as well as undertaking core administration activities to keep our service running smoothly. We'll need you to be calm, approachable and enjoy the opportunity to speak with our service users. You'll also need good skills in - or a willingness to learn - Excel, Word, Teams, taking phone calls, formatting and sending out letters to young people and families across the South West. You'll be part of a team of administrators who will be there to help you navigate your new role, and there will also be support and guidance from the administration lead. We're looking for someone who is keen to progress; there are opportunities within the team for development and we love to upskill our colleagues as much as possible! About us There's a lot of variety in this role, so no two days are ever the same. You'll work with a mixture of different services users from different backgrounds, and both the clinical and administrative teams are friendly, supportive and welcoming. We're here to help each other, as we know just how important it is to come to work and feel valued - and like you're making a difference. If you're curious about the role - if you'd like to find out more about the role or our team, please do get in touch!
