An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, pro-active team player to join the Performance and Informatics service.

You will be responsible for the production of timely and accurate information for the Trusts Children Young People

and Families & Specialist Primary Care Service Delivery Unit including monitoring of waiting times for this service.

You will need strong data analytical skills, problem solving abilities, excellent communication skills and enjoy working flexibly under pressure in a small busy team. As the Trust moves to a more automated reporting process, you will have the opportunity to use and develop skills to influence how reporting will be accessible in the future.

In addition to experience in an information role and working with the NHS, you will need to demonstrate the ability to interpret and report data in a format which is understood by operational staff, senior management and external stakeholders. Experience of writing SQL, Power BI and Excel is essential.

The role is 37.5 hours over 5 days per week and will involve working from our Trust HQ in Worcester and home working.

You will be responsible for the provision of information and data management to support all business areas of the Service Delivery Unit. The key objectives of the post are:

Collate, validate, analyse and present patient activity and information to support performance management, commissioning and the Service Delivery Unit Senior Management.

Compile and submit data for national and local statutory returns.

Be responsible for the production of waiting list information including information to support waiting list initiatives. Bring to the attention of senior managers any anomalies in information and details of any potential breaches of targets.

Represent the department at internal and external meetings regarding the information and data needs of the organisation.

Be responsible for ensuring the completeness and quality of data relating to the Trust and resolving any issues in a timely manner.
