Band C Paediatric Specialist Dentist
Salary - £94,700 - £108,

We have an excellent opportunity for a Dental Band C Paediatric Specialist Dentist, in Special Care, to provide care for children who cannot access the General Dental Service across Calderdale and Kirklees.
You will take a clinical lead and the role involves providing high quality care to children including those with complex medical co-morbidities, learning difficulties, patient management issues, and complex dental needs. The role may also include providing comprehensive dental care under inhalation sedation or general anaesthesia where appropriate.
Dental care may be provided in community, hospital or domiciliary settings as a flexible approach will be required in responding to the clinical care needs of these patients. You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Equally important is the ability to build good working relationships and be an effective team player. You will be supported by the Clinical Director and encouraged to develop your skills and learning.
The successful applicant must be fully registered with the General Dental Council and have completed vocational training, be able to obtain a Performer Number to work within NHS Primary Care Dentistry, hold a driving licence and have access to a vehicle due to the requirement for regular travel.
